In a recent trade, I received a 64" Bear Cub longbow. The details are as follows: It has a running bear decal which has the words "BEAR" and "Grayling, Mich" on it, a decal on the belly of the upper limb which says "Cub" in cursive writing, a decal on the back of the lower limb which says "Pat. Applied For", and the hand-written or painted specs on the side of the bow say "C-13074" and "60#_". The bow is laminated and has clear glass on the front and back. The bow measures 64" from tip to tip and has a well-worn leather grip which I would guess is the original grip. There are no overlays on the limb tips. There are a few stress cracks in the glass but I have been shooting it and it seems to be fine.
I have done some research but have found very limited information. I am looking for estimated date of manufacture and brace height specs. In the early part of my shooting history with this bow beginning late last year, it was an arm slapper. That was probably due to my form and getting my hand on the grip in the correct position. It has a straight grip.
Any information that you could provide, or a steer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. My transition from compound to "trad" continues.......

Sounds a lot like the 52-53 that I bought a week or so ago.

Thank you for the information Mr. Shanks. The bow I have matches the pictures of your 52-53 41#. Does your's have a slight shelf?
Thanks again,
TomBow
