Had a friend come over & wants me to appraise & sell his Grizz...It is a static tipped, Grizzly writen in yellow.Running Bear logo--
Any info would be appreciated

It's an early 50's (pre '53) and generally considered a wall hanger because of "stories" of aluminum separating. Many folks do shoot them and widespread evidence of failure is lacking.
If original and in excellent shape, they tend to go in the $125-$200 range.

Lon nailed it quite well. The aluminum lams were dropped in early '51.
It's been speculated that the ones that are going to delam have already done so. Your third picture is a great example of the alumilam limbs taking a 'set'. This one has been used quite a bit and/or left strung.
Less used '50 limbs are fairly straight, with the '52 and on limbs/handle showing a gentle deflexed arc unstrung.
Looks to be in pretty good shape overall

My first one I strung up many years ago blew up, you can take a chance with it but I would not, too nice of bow.
