Those two file set ups with the V block that Kustom King sells....
How good are they for setting the edge for broadheads....
Anyone try this file system....?
If ya mean the Snuffer broadhead kit, yes. They make it very simople to sharpn Snuffers, that is all I use! Shawn
Mike,
If you are talking about the S-24 files, I just posted a set of files and hone kit over on the classifieds. They work great, but since I switched to 3 blade woodsmans, I don't use them anymore. We could work out a trade if you are interested.

Lefty....
Yes thats the ones I was refering to....
Do the files work all the way to the points....
What would you like in Trade....
Mike,
There is a small gap between the files and stones, so that you can sharpen two blade with bleeder blades or four blade heads. I always chisel my points a little so it works out nicely. I already have an armguard from you for my daughter Brier and myself, which we really love by the way. So anything that you make would be great. I can put the files and hone kit in the mail to you tommorrow and when you get chance, just send me some leather item you think I would like. PM me your address if that's OK and I will get them in the mail.
Chris
Mike I own the s-24 files. They work very well setting the edge on the 2 blade magnus heads I like to shoot.
Mike,
Like was mentioned before they do a great job with 2 or 4 blades. With a little chalk and a couple of strokes they get a blade smok'n sharp.

I cut an oak board to look like the one with the files on a table saw, very easy. Then ordered a diamond, three grit set of sharpening stones from Harbor Frieght for $13. The stones are twice as wide as you need. Cut through the plastic from the back side, then cut through the diamond coated metal from the back with a Dremel Tool. Glue the two halves on the wood and you have 3 blocks of sharpeners, with 3 different grits. The coarsest will really take some steal off. The finest will finish it off. I hope these instuctions are`nt too complicated as this makes an excellent and very cheap sharpening system. Bob
draco-----have you got pics of this per chance? That would be a really nice build-along!
