Title: How are nanna feather cutters universal?

I was just looking at feathers cutters that 3R sells, and noticed that the banana cutters are sold as universal? How does this work?

Because the shape is the same at both ends (like the word radar) you can turn the feather around after it is cut and still have the quill in the rigth direction.
