Title: Beak Kodiak Magnum limb's crack

One Bear Kodaik Magnum of mine has a crack in the upper limb. The crack seem to concern the glass only. Do you think will be possible to restore it, perhaps backing the limbs with a snake's leather or silk ?
Thanks a lot for your help...I'd like to still use it .
