Title: Fred Bear Commemorative Knife
Post by: charles suttles on January 29, 2010, 09:04:00 PM
Does anyone have one of these or know how many were made?I purchased it in Gainesville in '94. It is #86 and was made by Dill in Eagle Park, Colo. I slipped off from a family trip to Disney to visit the plant and the "FRED BEAR MUSEUM" Left with this and a Tom Jennings Comm. knife also.I am considering as a donation to St Judes Auction, Compton, Pope or Young Club But trying to find out just what I would be donating. Help! I did show it to Al Reader a couple years ago at Compton and he said it was only the 2nd one he had seen but there must be a few out there since mine is #ed 86. Thanks, Charl;es   (http://i660.photobucket.com/albums/uu328/charles_10/BearKnife.jpg)s Auction???

Charles,

I don't have any info on them, but I do have a pic of a gorgeous one that was bought in '95 and sold on **** quite awhile back.
I just wish I had known about it when it was available...I would have bought it in a heartbeat!   :banghead:
