Trap

Nice job. I'm sure she will shoot like a dream.
-
That's a beautiful bow Bjorn!
-
Beautiful work, Bjorn. A perfect length and weight bow. Is there an advantage to using Tru Oil over, say, FullerPlast? How does the bow shoot compared to other years? Mike
-
Very nice Bjorn !! I bet it shoots as good as it looks.
-
Mike, Fullerplast is great if you have a spray room and respirator, with the Tru Oil you just wipe it on. I use a paper towel, some use just their fingers.
As far as shooting goes, if there is a difference between the 56-58 KS, it is not evident to me-they are all wonderful shooting and hunting bows. The design was spot on in all the lengths offered.

Great job Bjorn! I am working on 64" 54# '57 kodiak myself. Love the "skinned" one I got from You! Dick
-
Great job. I have 55 K-Special I love to shoot. Have you ever used the spray Tru-oil? Scott
-
Congrats for your refinishing work.I find the Ks of those years very appealing and better lookers than the Kodiaks. Is there any difference in how they compare?
-
Colin and Dick good to hear from ya'!
Ishi, I tried the spray once and had drying problems; but it could have been the wood-need to try it again.
Hi Felix, it is hard to beat the early KS, in my mind anyway, 1955-1958 produced some truly great hunting bows.
-
Great job Bjorn. I have a LH 1957 KS and really love the way it handles and shoots.
I agree with everyone else on these years.
-
1958-60 KS is a beautiful bow to shoot and one of the more elegant bows to look at.
For me, it just doesn't seem suited to broadheads and blood and being banged around.
-
I meant to say 1959-60 KS.
-
