i just got an old browning recurve nomad 54" long with a 50# pull. I payed 90 bucks for it did i over pay or was it a good deal
I did a search for the Nomad and saw a couple that went for close to that price on epay. I usually try to look at the going rate, then adjust for how much enjoyment I will get out the bow. I wouldn't pay that much, but I like longbows. My two cents.

If your happy, who cares. Enjoy it, very quick bows. One of the better shooters from Browning. I think ya done good! Shawn
If the bow is in good shape, that sounds like a very good price. Shoot it and you'll know if you got a deal. I have an old, ugly Black Bear that I think I gave $63 for that shoots better than any other bow I own. In fact, that's the one I hunted with this fall.
I think any time you can buy a recurve or longbow in good shape for under a hundred bucks, you made a good deal JMHO.
if you keep worying about it your going to take all the fun out of getting a new bow...shoot it at something and forget about the money....it's just money you'll make more....plus you already have it....ENJOY IT!
I think you ot a great deal as well. I spent 85 on a Wasp a few years back and have never regretted it.
If you shoot it well, and like it, then $90.00 is a deal. I have paid $500.000 - $700.00 for some bows, and hated them?

any bow you like to shoot and only paid $90 for is a great deal.
I have one and love it,you will too!!I agree with TJ.
