Title: mid '40s Bear?
Post by: Highlandwarrior on October 28, 2009, 12:02:00 PM
I have  a guy that says he has a bear bow that's from the mid 40s Any idea what it might be and what an average value would be? I haven't seen it yet and don't know what he's trying to get.

Could be anything from an all original dead mint Grumley Deerslayer T/D with rattlesnake skin back which would command a staggering 4-figure value... down to the bottom of the line up being a straight end one-piece lemonwood in poor condition with a value of less than $50.

Would have to know more details than Bear bow from mid 40s to give a realistic idea of its value. Photographs would be best, detailed description would be next best.

Yeah i know info was sparse, it's all I have right now though. I wasn't sure how many models there were during that era or the range of values. hoping pics will be coming soon.

Is it bigger than a breadbox?  :bigsmyl:
