I got my zipper extreme today, and it looks great. But I have a few questions before I put it together. This is the first takedown I have owned, and I was wondering is there a designated top and lower limb. Also, on each limb one side says 47lb and the other says 50lb. Thanks Joey
The difference in weights is due to the two riser models, the lower weight will apply if the limbs are on a Standard. The limbs are interchangeable which is cool. Yes there is a top and bottom limb. Bob and now Bill usually put a "B" on the butt end of the limb. You can also tell by the fact that the bottom limb is shorter.
Where is the butt end of the limb?
Opposite the tip end! :goldtooth:
Ok, just making sure. I dont think mine has it on there, but one does appear to be shorter. Thanks
Can they even be interchanged top and bottom I don't have a zipper but the few takedown I have are pinnedslightly different and can not be switched. GoodLuck with the new bow
My zipper had t and b on the rounded front part of the limb.
Just shot a few arrows through it, it shoots great and draws much smoother than my super kodiak.

Yes, you can put them on wrong. The pins are the same so be careful.
I've owned several Thompson made zipper standards and they all designated T or B on the butt end. Perhaps the new owner/bowyer doesn't, I dunno.
I just got my Zipper extreme. There is a "B " on the top edge of the bottom limb. Awesome bow!!!
