Probably the best feather to shoot in the rain. They do not get crappy when they get wet. It has to be the high arc. Bucky and I proved it opening day pheasant season[permit bow season] rain mixed with snow all morning. My 5 1/2" shield cuts were wet,  looked like crap, and  laying down. His 5 1/2" nanars were as pert as a ruttin' buck.He did manage to take a button buck that morning too.

I asked Byron Ferguson why he shoots them so often and he said he likes the rapid stabilization they afford an arrow. More penetration at hunting distances because the paradox is reduced to a smaller amplitude quickly.
