Title: Polar in 64"?

Hey guys just picked one up off the auction site. It is a Polar with serial number 12J51. I am trying to figure out the year. The writing says 64". I have searched all my catalogues and cannot find a Polar made in 64#. I see 63 and 66.
Anybody know what year this could be?

Bill.. I picked up two the other day both which are 64" one is RH and the other is LH.. I to have been trying to find any info I can...

Those are all 1961 Polars.  The 59-60's still had the red glass.

The Polar was introduced in '50 as a 62" bow, then went up to 64" in '52 and stayed at 64" until 1962 when they started making the "lady's" and "men's" lengths.

I'm missing a few pics for the start of the Polar identification guide.

Maybe there are more than one version of the '61 catalog??  

I don't have copies of the '60 or '61 catalogs, but every reference to the '60 I've found in print, pics or the web has it with the red glass and no overlays, just like the '59.  There are some differences in the limbs (at least 2 variations) but they should be laid up the same.

I know the one '61 catalog I looked at listed it as 64".  Should have bought the dang thing I guess, but I was focusing on the 50's.
