Title: Quiver..........Build Along
Post by: tenbrook on December 07, 2007, 10:27:00 PM
First a look at the tools I will be using......pretty basic! Kangaroo lace, and Cow leather.

Cut out your pattern.  For this quiver I am going 23" X 10"

Next I cut out my pocket. Go 2" wider, and 1" deeper, for a 1" deep pocket. Mine is 6" X 5" for a 5" X 3 X 1" pocket!

Mark your holes with a ruler for punching. You must have even holes, on matching sides!

Punch holes for pocket.

Stitch up the corners only.

Next lay out your holes for the pocket.  Remember you must have the exact same amount of holes as on the pocket.

Now stitch on the pocket.

This is where I am forced to stop for a few days, my wife took the digital camera on a weekend trip. Will continue with the shoulder strap come Monday or Tuesday.

Hope this inspires some of you to give it a try! This is only my third quiver!

Here is a picture of the first two I made. One for me, one for my daughter.  The one I am making now will be a Christmas gift for my brother!
