Title: 59 K with factory camo ???
Post by: Chuck_Delsandro on August 31, 2009, 06:46:00 AM
Item # 310164791371

I didn't think that they made a 59 with factory camo, and this looks more like was painted. No silkscreens. Anyway I like the specs on this bow. I think it's gonna be the one for me!

I saw that it had no silkscreens also, don't think it's a factory paint job. Be a nice bow anyway, good luck.

They painted over the silk screens in 59, the camo went on after the bow was clear coated

Roy - Check this thread for Bear silk screens over the factory camo in 1959, and 1958...

Your 60# 1959 had silk screens under the factory camo but not over it. The link above shows silk screens on top of the camo, indicating they were probably made both ways in 1959...

Things like this drive us crazy collectors even more crazy.
