I am trying to find some information on a Hoyt Pro Custom Recurve the serial number is 2PC607. It is 64" and 55#. I believe it was made in mid 60s and is similar to a Howatt catilina and bear Kodiak (65). I heard that Howatt made some bows foe Hoyt at one time but have no idea if this is factual but this bow looks like it may have been made by Howatt.

The Hoyt ProCustom with that serial number (2PC607) was most likely made in late 1963 (maybe October). I think that this particular bow was made by Hoyt, not Howatt (based on the 2PC bows that I have seen), although I have seen a Hoyt bow that I thought looked like it was made by Howatt, myself. Pictures would help, here.
Those series 2 ProCustoms are beautiful bows. I have never seen one that was 55#, though. And, the 64" is also unusual - most that I have seen were 68". I would like to see photos of the bow, if you can post them or email them to me.

Ray,Thanks for information. I have yet to figure how to post pictures here but I did have a post on the *********** and was able to post pictures. Try this link or my handle Magwah and see if it works. I was shooting it this evening and robin hooded my 2016s, I hate when that happens. Steve

Steve, that is a beautiful bow! And, it is clear from your experience that it is a GREAT shooter, at least in your hands!
