Title: EASY LEE SPINE TESTER
Post by: Liquid Amber on August 11, 2009, 08:14:00 PM
EASY LEE made spine testers and other stuff; 1940-'60 maybe; Ohio based.

Anyone have a catalog or copy of advertising handy?

Do you mean the Lee-Free Spine Tester?

I have ads from the 1950s for them.

What do you want to know?

What other products might have been made by them.  A guy I know picked up a spine tester and was wanting more information.

The address I have for the ad is in Belleville, Michigan under the company name S.C. Pierman.

Lee-Free also had a fish point, small game point and field point, not sure what else without checking. I believe I have a Lee Free brochure somewhere but it might take weeks or months to locate.

Although their products were advertised nationally, their limited specialty product line never achieved the wide name recognition that was enjoyed by the large archery manufacturers of the day.
