Title: Older Browning Recurves
Post by: 2 bears on July 25, 2009, 07:40:00 PM
I have two Browning recurve bow that I think some collector might be interested in.  One is called a "Prep" and the other is a "Rover",  both 35# and both in super fine condition.  I am thinking of listing them on the classified section but not sure of their value.  Can anyone advise me.  Thanks.  Chuck

Chuck,I think those are the bottom end bows that browning made, matybe $25.00 to $30.00 they are worth whatever someone would pay. You could give them away to some kid that needs one that would be what I would do. I pick those cheaper bows up at garage sales and I have given many away to kids over the years.

Who knows, I maybe contacting you again. Cheers. Chuck.

I have a Browning Prep. It was given to me. It is 62" 50#@28" and shoots nice has good cast and speed quiet, some hand shock. can be used for hunting. It's all maple, riser and limb cores. with white glass. I painted the limbs black and left a white outline it looks great. It makes a great backup or loner. If any one has more info lets hear. thanks Jon
