Post by: V-Archer on December 07, 2007, 08:24:00 AM
Hi All,

Upon request of som of TG members: Here is a riser and mosaic stripe build-along.
This build-along is part of the Morning Mist bow that I made earlier this year.

Enjoy,

V-Archer   :archer:

Go to V's web site (http://www.v-archery.nl) and you can see the entire bow being built as well as the final product.

I was wondering if putting in a semi circle stripe in a riser weakens the riser at all, vs. solid wood???

Hey V-archer. I saw your thread earlier on the mosaic stripe and finally tried one myself. It's not quite as fancy as yours but it looks super on the riser so far. Thanks for the inspiration. Mike

Okay,

I've tried 3 times.  They look great, but every time they snap as soon as I start to bend the accent strip into the bend of the riser.  Any ideas?
