The scumbag is trying to sell the signature bow again.Don't bite!Item #220455293953
-
Yeah I see it listed every few weeks. What is up with that crook? I reported it to e-by once and nothing happened.
-
John I wish someone would tell the guys who are biding on it about this Scumbag..
Cody..
P.S the arrow went out today
-
I haven't seen this guy/item before. Just looked it up (thanks John) and have never seen a listing where they seller states all questions must be directly emailed and no questions through the system. All bidders must email first or he will delete bids. What is the scam this guy is pulling?
-
I just sent him an email asking for more info on this bow.. As in his add he dose not have much of anything about the bow...
-
you are best off to not even open that page.As soon as you open the page for the signuture and ask the guy if he takes whatever payment ???? they hist all your info. They are not concerd about selling you any of there items. They want you to email them is all they need and they got you and your info.DO NOT EMAIL THAT SELLER.....bd

Thanks BD! I am always very cautious about just sharing my email with anyone on ****. My habit is when asking a question through the system I hide my email from the seller so they don't know my email address. Long story very short: I had my **** account taken over 5+ times last summer over a few weeks by someone in Europe who had gotten my email address somehow. In order to stop this take over stuff I had to come up with a new email address for **** only and have never show my email address. While I have never sold a bow in Europe I know now I never will through **** after the experience I had. At times when I do list a bow I state clearly no sales to Europe I still get questions about selling the bow there. I always look at these questions as someone trying to get my email address so they can try something fishy! Thanks again for the heads up and I knew something was up but was too dumb to figure it out. Thanks guys John

Not sure what the scam is,Doc may be right but I've seen this same signature bow,#155 listed in this same format several times.Always a different seller with several feedbacks to appear legitimate, probably someone elses e-bay account. And the auction is always very short, not several days as most are.The scammer is trying to do his dirty work and get in and get out as quickly as possible before being reported.Always wants you to contact him personally, not through e-bay.I reported it right after I saw it,hope it can stop some poor unsuspecting guy from getting taken.Cody,I wish there was a way to warn the bidders but I don't know how.
We need to send the A-handle army over to this guys hide-out and give him the multi-arrow salute.Bowdoc, you will be in charge of this covert operation.
-
John, I don't know your experience but since I am not a Pc guru I have all my data clearly identificable, have taken dozens of bows on e--- never had a problem.I also contacted that criminal that is listing the Signature,we already talked about that here, and I was ready to send him the money. What he does is to give you a tracking shipping # to your destination, for a empty envelope,so the only thing he does is to hi-jack your money not your datas. At the time I was able to understand the fraud because in this forum a well know member stated that he took the same bow few months earlier and still has it.This people must be reported every time from everybody.
-
well said Felix well said. They will also take credit card numbers anytime.bd
-
Thanks Felix. I had you in mind when I said I would not sell to anyone in Europe via ****. I would deal with you without question and without reservation. The scam artists are out there and thank you again for educating me on this. You guys are the BEST!!!!! I reported him too last night after Johns heads up. Thanks guys.
-
Just went back to report this one AGAIN and it is gone. Not sure if it "sold" or was pulled but it din't pop up this time.
-
As you report them they are pulled off,but since this play is lasting since long time I am afraid that some fall in their net from time to time.I think to have heard that the same guy list some precious wrist watches in the same manner.Felix
-
Cody, I hope your firewall is good! I'd say that's a BAD MOVE. CKruse
-
I asked the question through the system there on 8bay.. and I put my email on hide....
-
The auction got pulled and look who's back already. And only an $88.00 starting bid with no reserve.Cody, don't do it!!! I have reported it to e-bay.
