Picked this up at a antique shop for 26.00. It was listed as a Wonderbow but it doesn't look like any of them on ArcheryArchives. The shelf/riser section has a cut out that I haven't seen before. 60" - maroon glass front and back.

For $26 thats not a bad bow.... The only Wonderbow I know was made was by Shakesear archery which was made here in michgan.. My Wonderbow dose not look like that as well..
Is there a shop name or any other name on the bow..
Nice find..

No writing, stickers, decals or an outline of what used to be. Just the specs on the riser.
I figured the unique riser/shelf section may be a useful clue as to the maker.

Shepp- It's also very well be a homemade bow as well.. As there where a few home bower's who made bows and sold them...

"WONDERBOW" was a term applied to many models of Shakespeare bows.
Yours does not look like any Shakepeare that I have seen, but it looks like a '50's style bow so it could be an early Shakespeare.
I was probably refinished and the original names and stickers sanded off. Or, it could have been a homemade biw as was suggested above.
As Cody said, well worth $26.00

$26.00  :clapper:

The 26.00 was good but I would rather know what it was or where it came from.
Just another bow someone cleaned up with good intentions but did more harm than good.

Not sure for sure, but it resembles the Eddings out of Iowa. Nice looking old bow
