I see alot of bow makers use diamond wood for the risers.    Does this wood go by another name.    I have a connection with a hardwoods mill and he has never heard of diamond wood. he was wondering if it has a different name.

it spelled dymond wood I think its wood veneers glued together with a epoxy I know its tough and all you have to do is polish it doesnt need a finish put on it ,
