but I thought I would stick this in here anyway.

The thread on best shooting years of the Grizzly Bears, I couldnt help home similar the designs were.

This one is a shooter for sure. I thought I might show it to any that might be interested.

Its a Ben Pearson 950, made in 56 and 57 before then "named" the models. Its a take down at the handle, ambidextourous grip.

Sixty inches (or 5' back then, as it says on the riser) and 46#.

Arrows are some REALLY old Ben Pearsons from 1943-45 according to the box and label in archeryarchieves.

I thought it interesting that the 5.5 inch barred feathers are rather "rounded" in back instead of parabolic or shield, with blunt tips on the arrows themselves as well as "Ben Pearson" stamped on the side of each arrow.

Love shooting it (NOT with those arrows, LOL) but saw a 954 ( a 5'4" version) I didnt think as nice, just sell in **ay for 230 plus.....my luck Ill break it! lol.

I know there isnt as many BP fanatics as Bear but....here she is.

I thought that this model was very similar to the same era of Grizzleys at first glance.

That is a nice one. Kurt likes his as well with good fit at the connection.
 Dont know much about them, but I have a couple of the older pearson all wood bows I am using to practice my spray technique on before I touch up an expensive one

That is really a nice bow and set of arrows.  Just classic, Bear or Pearson.  The arrows are very appealing and simple.

nice set Ben Pearson archery stuff.... Let me do know if you would like to sell the bow or the arrows......

That model of Pearson Take-Down has always appealed to me too.  Over the years I've seen several on the bay.  The leather on yours is exceptional.  Most are worn and frayed along the top edge.
If you search the Bay you'll find a nice one with a high buy it now price....it's lower now than when I first saw it over a year ago.  The guy really must love that bow....it started out at $1200.00.....Yikes!

LOL.....dang. I thought the 954, 5 foot 4 inch one for 228 plus shipping was about right that sold yesterday.

THIS ONE is now listed in the classifieds.

I bet its the one guy that really starts a few high.

BTW.....anyone collecting Battleshafts...need to go look.

Unable to work at this time or.....hehehe.

This is a nicer bow than the one sold yesterday and the 6 foot model, hate selling it but...the "unable to work" thingy above sets the priorities.

Nice photos!  Pearson bows are great, I am especially fond of the early 60's Palomino's.  I am also a Damon Howatt junkie.

This bow is sold but the arrow remain in the classifieds.
