I'm tempted to restore my old grizz, will removing leather grip and side rest decrease it's value? Bear medalian was lost, anyone know where to purchase them or shall I replace it with a Indian head penny?

Hard to say, most times a refinish will lower the value, depends on how much you paid and who is refinishing it
You could also bid on the St Judes auction for the 59 refinish kit that Trap is offering :goldtooth:

well I would actually say a totaled Vette is worth very little.But once restored to its original luster again becomes a collecter car.As for bows if the finish is totaly shot and the tip overlays and coin are missing.Then the bow is not worth very much at all and pron to weather and or moisture damage getting through the finish.However once restored to its near original condition becomes a collecter again ???? I've purchased many used beat bows over the years and myself I have never ever taken less money then what I paid for the bow plus the work I've done...a 100.00 beat up bow with 200.00 worth of work becomes a 300.00 bow ??? its really kind of up to bows owner as to the value he puts on it...bowdoc
