Hey all,
I picked this bow up for 25 bucks at an antique store... can anybody identify it?
It pulls 39 lbs at 28 inches, and has serial # 07482. That's it...no other markings on the bow at all. nada, zilch, zero.
Anyone seen anything like it?
Oh and the tips are overlayed with one sheet of phenolic (white)...
Thanks,
Derek

Sort of looks like a Howatt Delray
-
Is it a 66" ?
-
YUP...

Delrey or Monterey, look em up and see what you think. Thats a beauty for $25 you lucky dog :)
-
Here's a '74 Monterey...and they do appear to be similar, but not exactly.

it sees similar, but at the sametime doesn't...
i don't know
-
I figured different years different looks, How about the Delrey?
-
I looked, but it doesn't seem to have the same riser dimensions. Or shape for that matter...also that doesn't explain the serial #...all the howatt bows have the # written on them in ink - this bow's serial is stamped into the wood itself.
I'm not trying to be doubtful, but it just doesn't seem to fit the description of eiher.
-
I have a DEL REY and yours is not one of those.
-
I still thinks its a Howatt. Grant

check out archery archives and look at the Norm Richards bow. Also Indian made some tournament bows that are similar.

ok...will do
