Title: 1954 Bear Compass Kodiak II
Post by: jcar315 on May 07, 2009, 08:52:00 AM
Hey guys. I have listed for sale or trade in the bow classifieds a 1954 Bear Compass Kodiak II. Lots of pics there and I have more if you are interested. I have what I think is a pretty fair price of $225 TYD or truly would consider a trade for LH 1950's - early 1960's Kodiak Special / Super kodiak / Grizzly type of bow. Doesn't seem to be anyone over there appreciating this bow. Thanks John

I've got a 1955 kodiak special 64 inch 49 at 28 that I just purchased off fleabay last week.  I haven't received the bow yet but may be interested in a trade.  My bow appears very shootable, straight limbs and all.  Is your 54 a lefty ?  It was my impression that the compass bows were structurely weak in the riser and bear achery quit making the compass bows as a result.  Either way, they are beautiful.  If you are interested, please send pics.  Bhill
