Title: Santa in Denver
Post by: cacciatore on May 02, 2009, 03:17:00 PM
Just home from Denver for P&Y.For the auction a very nice Signature LH #3!!!that was offered by Fred Bear son in law.It was like new since the strke plate didn't shaw any use and the string was immaculate.I was thinking to bid but went up to 5800 in few second and if  the price looked at me still good, well I considered that I could not shoot a bow in such a condition and because already I own one(rh)I let it go and the winner was a gentleman that donated it to the Museum,so I think that it is been a better cause that hang on my hunting room. But good news arrived my way anyway,I picked up 11 old Bear bows:7 KMag-62-67-68-69-3 of the 70's.1-67 Grizzly-1-68 KHunter-1-55Kodiak-1 59-Kodiak deluxe-1 68 SKodiak, plus several Bear TD limbs of different times 2 risers one a green stripe 1985 and a A 06,plus 3 brand new TD's.Not bad for a BOWHUNTER in Italy

Well,I took 2 sky bags for the one pieces wrapped with duraball or bubble paper and the TDs inside the bottom of a Cabelas wheeled duffle bag,I am starting to be a pro for carryng bows oversea(free advices offered)About the P&Y  it is been a great gathering and for sure the bowhunter are much better than the organization itself, very nice people and lot of traditionals too, maybe the trad shooters like more to socialize and to fraternise and for sure more devoted to the sport
