Title: Colors on FBTD

Can someone tell me what colors the catalog lists for the mag riser Fred Bear (Field Model) Take Down?

Larry, From '71 thru 73 they offered: Astro Blue; Sunset Gold; Moss Green; Artic Gray; Cardinal Red; Buckskin Brown; and Autumn Rust;
In '74 thru 76 they dropped the Autumn Rust and Artic Gray and added Artic White and Bundi Black.
Changed shades slightly and called the colors different sir names such as Masai Brown instead of Buckskin Brown or Mozambique Red in place of Cardinal Red.  1977 the A and B came in Silver Vein(Black with silver hues) and the C came in Glacier Vein(white with silver). Pretty much the same colors just different names.  Hope this helps........................Shick

Shick,

In '77, were they only offered in the two "vein" colors or were they added to the previous colors?

Larry, according to the catalog the A and B were available only in Silver Vein and the C was only available in Glacier Vein.  That's not saying colors weren't on hand at the factory??....Shick
