Picked up some neat items this weekend. Saturday I found a nice old log cabin style bow rack for three bows. Today a Lady Polar 56" 35# with blue tips and signed by Ted Nugent a few years back. A Bear string rack with 68" thru 72" strings left yet and a neat bow rack for four bows

Very nice finds indeed. Does every yard sale in Michigan have Bear stuff???? Really like the bow rach with the large Bear logo.
-
Your luck is like mine Roy, so many pretty bows with the window on the wrong side of the bow ;)
Nice find though!!

If someone can pin-point a year to this baby blue tipped Lady Polar I would be thankful..
My third RH ladies bow...looks like the wife is now a Bear collector...

Nice find. I think that's either a '63 or '64. The '63 has a slight bit of hourglass flare as the grip meets the shelf. It would help if you had a pic from directly above the bow looking down on the riser as it lays on the carpet, but I would go with '63.
I just pulled out my men's polar that I call a '64 even though the number is 5BD70, so I could lay it next to your pic and compare the grips. It has the exact same color and pattern as yours, but has olive green tips and does not have the slight flare to the grip.
Catalogs say only the '63 and '64 had the zebra window.
Funny I have the exact match to yours, but in men's length and without the slight grip flare, meaning a different year....

Bernie,
Checked it out and it does have the hour glass grip. Guess she is a 1963, looks good with the 1962 Lady polar next to it. Have to keep an eye out for the 64' now..

3rd bow from the top. Is that a zebra wood Kodiak? 1966?
Sorry for the hijack..

Yes, the 66' Kodiak looks to have some nice zebra wood in it

WOW. Must be a rare one. It’s the first time i’ve seen one with that wood combo. Real nice...

Simon,
Here are a few pics of the 66' Kodiak. Just got it in a swap for a longbow.
