Went out today with an early (probably '72-'73) Bear mag A-riser with shiny white limbs and Metric Magnum 8.4mm arrows to shoot at 30-year-old stumps. That mag riser let's me knock around the woods for practice and save the wood A-riser for the real thing. There, that may qualify this thread for the history forum. :D
Also took my woods-walkin' partner and a video cam.
Anyway, I apologize for three things:
1. I forgot my hat and sunglasses, so you guys have to see me.
2. My form sucks-I blame the shiny white limbs...we just don't click.
3. Posting this in a non-shooting forum...I hope you'll cut me some slack, this is the only place I hang out.
Anyway, I will just give the link so you guys can check it if you want rather than embedding it here. You may have to turn your volume up to hear our antics.
Shhhhh, it\\'s a stump... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2hn0FlCUeU)

That was great good shooting. Those old mags still work sweet...bd

Very well done, some nice shooting there

Hey thanks guys, but remember - the really bad shooting is on the cutting room floor!
I just love watching those old Bear takedowns in action - almost as much as I love shooting them.

Great vid. One piece of advice though...I found that YouTube butchers the quality of videos. If you wander over to Veoh.com and set up an account and upload there, you'll get much better results. And you can upload bigger file sizes as well...all for FREE.
