Title: Red Chavez

I remember hearing about his bows,does anybody have some more info on him.
Came across one and am not sure if I remember how good he was,I thought I recall some pretty high compliments on his work.

I had one of his 2-piece longbows. Absolutely first rate workmanship, smooth, fast & quiet. There was a hint of a 'thump' in the hand, but just enough to let you know what was happening.

Wish I still had it, to be honest.

Red built bows here in the Bitteroot valley, he is the one that designed the Selway Archery bows (Little shooters) that Gordy Mickens sells.

I saw it for sale in Montana craigslist.
Went back and could not find it.Think it was in Libby.

I really wish I had somebody in my family, buy it for me.

Its only the 2nd,I have seen for sale.
