Title: Vintage Bear Archery Score Cards?
Post by: shortside on March 19, 2009, 10:39:00 PM
I have some original printed score sheets that are on colored paper (tri-fold 8 1/2 x 11) with black printing.

On one side, there is a Bear archery product advertisement, and the other side is a score sheet.
Some of you might be able to date them based on teh products advertised, but I am not that up on this stuff.  Aromakr would know, and I think he told me.
Some are stamped with a local shop's Stamp, with the name, address, etc.

These are a neat remnant of a marketing tool used by Bear Archery, and I am sure that in their day, they were pretty glitzy.

Aromakr was at my place last week, and has an example of these.

Anyway, does anyone know much about these, and is there any interest?  I was thinking about ****ing an envelope containing 1 of each.

I will try to get a photo up soon.

Here is a couple pics.

I was wrong on the size and format.  They are folded in half, and are 7" wide by 8 1/4 tall unfolded.

The colors are a little off due to the blue carpet background, but pretty close. I have six differnt types:
The Bear Razorhead
Bear bowfishing Rig
Bear Bows
Hunting Bows...by the master bowhnter-Fred Bear
The Bear Tamerlane
Fred Bear Bow Quiver

Wow, those pics are small.  I would suggest coung to the hunt101 link directly (right click on phot, then properties) to see the larger version.

Let me know if you need better/larger views.

Thanks,
