Title: What to do with dings?
Post by: Apex Predator on March 14, 2009, 06:32:00 AM
I'm refinishing a bow that has some dings on the edges.  They are not tore out chips, but just shiny blemishes inside the glass.  They are too deep to sand out.  They won't wick any CA glue.  I think I just have to leave them as is.  Am I right, or is there a solution?

Thanks guys!  I have sanded as much as I dare, so as not to gouge out the area.  I think these will have to stay.  Thanks again.

If you do gotta lieve em maybe hit them with just a small spot of super glue and sand smooth. That will help keep small fibers from popping through the new finish..bd
