Post by: penrosefred on February 16, 2009, 09:07:00 AM
I will try here. I have 4 leather bound books signed by st.charles on Legeneds of the long bow. These books are used like new. they are
   The archers craft.
Turkish archery and modern methods in archery.
   The Gray Goose Wing.
   Archery by Elmer.
I would like to sell these books at a fair price to both buyer and seller how can I find out what they are worth?

You might try  www.abebooks.com (http://www.abebooks.com)  which has lots of classic or out-of-print books for sale.

My experience with this St. Charles Legend series is that value varies widely depending on the book.  The more common ones usually bring $30-50 while something like Sagittarius sells for $200 or more.

Best thing to do to sell for a fair price to all involved is to put them on e8ay.

The bidders will determine the fair value.  They are like bows...they are worth what someone will pay...no more, no less.

I would list each one separately and let each stand on its ownas to what it will bring.
