I thought that stress was this.....

But now I wonder, what is this?

Is it stress marks in the finish vs. stress in the fiberglass, or are they just different forms of the same thing?  Thanks!

RonP

PS, if it matters, one is a Pearson, one is a Bear.  I don't have any Bear bows with prominent marks except the Alaskan in the picture.

Thanks Mr. Toad and Bowdoc!!  What's next?  Loctite, or leave them alone?  I would potentially like to hunt with the Bear this year, as I'm told it is a 1959.
