I have finally been able to put together enough time at one sitting to list the first of the two left-handed Jack Howard Hunters! This first bow has serial number H-153 and is 68# @ 28". The item number for the auction is: 170296651707. This auction is part of our own TradGang Jack Howard Project.
Remember that the proceeds from this auction go to Dorothy Howard, Jack's widow. So, to help out Dorothy, bid aggressively and often!

This bow has two values...shooter value, and collectors value
As a shooter, I have to rate it with the Damon Howatt Hunter, because it is the exact same thing, made by Damon Howatt with the final finish and logo by Jack Howard. Jacks finish was the best in the industry, bar none. The Howatt Hunter is one of the best hunting bow designs ever, still in production by Martin Archery.
As ffar as collectors value goes, this is determined by supply, demand, and condition.
This is about an '80's model, but brand new, never sold; so, condition is "mint".
Jack only put out about 50 Hunters, and I would guess less than ten (10) in left hand. In this heavy weight, I would say this is an extremely rare bow, so the supply is almost non existant.
As far as the demand goes...well the bidders will establish that.
If I had to put a value on this bow, I would say about $600.00. Will it sell for that? Probably not. Right now money is tight and recurve values are down. Now is the time to take advantage of the market and get a freat value on this one.

The Jack Howard Hunter, Serial Number H-153, was purchased by Curt Reynolds of Illinois!
For Dorothy, I thank you, Curt, and all of the others who bid on this bow!
