I'm just playing around with photos again since it's freezing outside anyhow and thought I would post a pic of my newest old bow,a 1957 Kodiak,60",54#.It just came in the mail and I thought how nice it was for a 52 year old bow.So.. I decided to do a little layout of some items someone might have put together in preparing for opening day of bow season back in 1957.I know I still anticipate the opener and the excitement of digging out all my gear that I'll need to pursue that monster white-tail.This ritual has been going on probably since the first bow was ever made.Enjoy.

cool pic. one question what is the blue/green thing near the catolog?
-
My suggestion is to fill that quiver, put a string on the old bow, sharpen up the razorheads and go kill some bunnies.
All that bow needs is some fresh air and a little TLC.

Yes,Kurt is right.That green thing is a bowstring.And doc,I didn't know you cared so much.It's nice to be loved.LOL
And you're right. That stuff would look better surrounding a harvest of some sort.I'll see what I can do.
