Does anyone have pics of their Pearson Palomino recurves? And any idea who might want to get rid of one? I am wondering if they all had the beautiful looking woods as the ones I have seen on the big auction block. Thanks everyone! :campfire:

To the best of my knowledge, there are three phases of teh Palomino.
Late '50's . '60's, and '70's. The one you are probably talking about is the '60's. I have on but can't post pictures. I am sure someone here will. I think Migr Bill just pick up a nice '70's model.
At least I think it was him that beat me out on e8ay...as usual :biglaugh:

I was just watching one on there but didn't get chance to bid. Well had the chance but not at the end. I am 11 hours ahead of PST right now so I don't get to see all of them end, not that I get here everyday but I try. I don't know much about them other then they look real nice and what I have been reading up on them in back posts. I seen someone, I forget who, got a brand new one this past summer(luck dog). That sure was a beauty!

That is a '70's model isn't it. I know the one I have is a mid '60's and they were pretty much tournamnt bows. Yours is a hunting bow, right.
I can't keep track of who keeps beating me out on bows that I want. You all take a turn at one time or another.

I've got a couple of the rosewood ones that I have just restored. They are the rosewood models. One has white on white glass 49# and a brown on brown glass 56# that I am just finishing. They do have beautiful wood. I may be looking to get rid of one of them, probably the white one. Email me for pics (I haven't figured out the posting of pics here yet) I visit here a lot but am what these guys would consider a lurker. Later Bill

Mine is a 1962 as stated in the thread. I'm not really looking to buy or sell right now. Thanks, CKruse

Here's a pic or 2 of my 1961/62. I shot it in the 1962 NFAA nationals. Wish I had a good pic when it was new. It was really purdy then :D ...Van

I have 3, 1959 palomino's 62" 64" and 66"in very good to mint condidion . I shoot the 66" all the time.I have had about 30 bows new and used. The 66er is the best shooter. If I COULD find a better bow to shoot I would get it.I bought a palomino at the compton shoot. The 62"er Al R. LIKED THE BOW, HE TOLD ME IT WAS IN FINE SHAPE.
The palomino's are getting hard to find, and one of the best bows ever made. Thanks Ben Pearson
