I just picked this bow up, Howard Hill Half Breed. Bought it from fellow tradganger CVARCHER. Thanks again CV the bow is beyond my expectations, I love it.
Now for a history lesson, does anyone know anything about the bow, like why they call it Half Breed, anything ? thanks

I have a HHill Half Breed. Mine has 3 lam inner core bamboo with 2 veneer Yew under clear glass. I believe they call these half breeds because of using bamboo which Mr.Hill cherished and yew for the limbs. These woods are considered by many longbow guys to be the best material possible, hence the name Half Breed. To me there are no other woods to use in a straight-end American longbow. They are classic and perform as good or better than any other combiation, just my opinion. Hang on to it, you have a good one........IJ
