I don't know why but them Zebrawood risers are some lookers  . Is there anything prettier? Bears, an Indian, and a Shakespeare

I have to agree. I have been weeding out some Bear bows, but one I can't seem to part with is my '65 Grizzly. Zebrawood is just great to look at!

Hey, nice zebra collection.
The only zebra I have is a Shakespeare Super Necedah, and I really like it. My friend just ordered and received a new Pronghorn longbow with zebrawood riser that is gorgeous. ;)
Can it be used as a limb veneer? Why not?

I too am a big zebrawood fan but think I prefer the darker woods. Rosewood, ebony, etc

Here's a good combo of the zebra wood meeting a darker wood. 1962 Grizzly.

Rich,
I thought that type of wood loses its durability and strength over years but increases somewhat in flexibility.

What is the story behind the Shakespeare medallions. The bottom bow in the first pic is also a Super Necedah but no medallion. I also have a Serria X-18 without one but have seen that model with a medallion also.
Thanx, Shep

The BAMBAW I had just had a sticker medallion on it, not sure if it was certain models or years that got the special treatment.
