What would the general value of a 62 kodiak be that has straight limbs and no stress and good tips.Normal use marks lets say.60 inches 43 #s.Rosewood riser and gray glass.

I'd guess around $300. sometimes they go higher.

These are definitely one of my better shooting bows that came from Grayling...and a looker as well.
Horney's value is close I am sure, but if could find a 55# 'er with that condition, I would spend more.

A 50# just sold on the auction site for $450.00 and that bow was in good condition but nothing outstanding.
Great bows IMO if you can find one in the weight you're looking for.

Thanks I heard they were shooters.I got 59er thats 64 inches and 47#s thats so smooooth and whisper quiet.I thought this would be a nice compliment to it with the shorter length yet same grip essentially.i am lookin at one and am thinkin on it.I never shot one but trust your opinions and expertise here.

Should go for 300.00 to 350.00. Heavier poundage would bring more.

The grip on the 62 is fatter than the previous years. It's still a great bow and my favorite. Mine is LH and 60# I gave $400 back in 2003.

Ye, there's a huge difference between the 59 and 62 grips Eric.
Do you hunt with yours Ron? I havent hunted with either of mine. I can't seem to head out the door without picking up Doc's old 60K.
I'd like to shoot a little 3D with my 47# 62 next summer.

Okay, thanks Trap and Raghorn for the feedback on the grip.I do like the grip on the 64 inch 59er I have.It is a tad smaller than the 60 inch 59er I had actually.
Curious if the 62 kodiaks came in a 64 inch version like the 59ers?
Thats a great pic Bowdoc.
I bought the 64 inch 59er to hunt with here in MI. this season and kill a deer like Fred.Just something I want to do.Had a doe at 25 yards tonight but no shot.Its nice to hunt with this classic older bow and it shoots as beautifully as it looks.

Eric, the 62 was only offered in 60 inch.

That 1962 is 55# and was a hunting machine.I killed two deer and that cow with it.Be darn if I can find the pics of the deer,I did have the pic of the elk handy(lot right at the shelf of my bow and you will see a small spot of blood on the cows front leg?The arrow was broken off in the elks heart).I pulled the camo pants down on the 62 so you guy's could see her gray leggs.When my brothers passed away 5 or so years ago.The 62 had the go to raise a little dough to help with cost.The bow was sold for a good reason as they say shi* happens.I miss that bow alot and will find another one day.I would like to buy her back and pass it along to my grandsons,but I kind of do not got the 755.00 I sold the bow for handy right now.Maybe next year I will buy her back..I loved that bow,but I guess I loved my brother more...bowdoc

Darn! I can't find the picture now.
I used the 62 to take a 6 point bull elk in 2003 along with 1960 vintage 2018 shafts, leather top tape on quiver, and 1960 Razorheads.
