how many of you guy's got Kodiaks or Kodiak magnums with the painted limbs.I would love to see pics of them as I was working on a color match for the 1962 Kodiaks.........bowdoc

How can I tell if my limbs are painted? Any specific years? Why were they painted anyways? - Simon

Hey Doc...I have a 62 K Mag with dark gray Glass looks like a factory refinish...If you want a pic just let me know...Mike

Most of the painted models were some 1960's and 61 62 63 64.If you check your limbs and do not see the fiberglass texture.There is a pretty good chance they were factory painted.If you strip the factory paint off you will see they have had stress cracks repaired at the factory prior to being shippied.I may have a painted limb 1961 Kodiak mag around here.I will load a pic asap.bowdoc
