Title: Were these flat black enough.......

Were the early black painted black widow limbs really flat black or were they more of a frost.I repainted a set this week.I thought they looked cool in the forst finish.What do you guy's think ??? bd (http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii175/bowdocsarchery/bw001-1.jpg)
