I recently bought a 1957 Bear catalog off the auction site and was contacted by another **** member to buy it from me for $250...Whats this thing worth? Im worried its a scam..Thanks Curt

sounds like a scam, or a typ-o. I'd tread carefully either way.

If it's a 1957 catalog.Thats about the correct price.But if it's one of those reprints ???? bowdoc

I bought it and another 70s Kinney archery catalog buy it now for $10...I will let you know if the deal comes together. Thanks for the input.
-
Please just make sure its not one of those reprints the dude was selling over the summer. They are worth about 10 bucks.....bowdoc

Wow, I didn't know they brought that much, most the ones I see range from $12-$50 or so.
I'll just keeping asking my quesitons here... a whole lot cheaper. :)

For $250.00 I would sell it. Make sure payment is by Posatal money order, and you sell it as is, with no guarantee as to authenticity since you pretty much bought it on faith as to being an original.

1957 was the year the factory burned and almost all the catalogs were burned up in the fire.So it is somewhat rare-ish.....bd

The buyers is troutbear on the auction site.Has over 3000 transactions and 100% feedback.Anyone done biz with him?

If it's Troutbear the catalog is real. Troutbear is one very large Bear collector. Frank knows his Bear stuff and money is no problem. A real stand up dude!
