Do any of you guy's have any idea what rest may have been mounted here? It had to be early sixties. I'm hoping to replace the rest, if I cant find it I hope it can be repaired. thanks greg (http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr72/gbsticknstring/bowcloset128.jpg) (http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/rr72/gbsticknstring/bowcloset127.jpg)

Greg.. Looks like a vintage aftermarket rest by Larry Walsh called a D.S.A.R. disappearing shelf arrow rest. Thats my best guess, I have three sizes. let me know what size you have and I will send you one...Mike

Non of those in stock...Sorry

What kind of bow is that? I'd be tempted to cover the holes up with an aftermarket strike plate and install a rug rest, feather rest or maybe one of these

Thanks every one for all input and gracious offers. I ran out to the fall meeting of some smelly bowhunters right after I posted. We must be smelly or something, no elk down yet this year for this bunch. Thank goodness for late season. Anyhow, your offers are very kind, thanks. I didn't even think of posting the size of the notch for the original rest. It's 1" wide and about 1/2" tall, Doc if this sounds like your flipper-mag jobbie you speak of I'd love to get it from you. Thanks greg

Kruse, all I know right now for sure (total newbie!) is it's very early 60's and very Special . I really want to get this one to doc to look at. Hey doc would some of my feather rests make a good trade? How many... Red or green? greg
