Any idea what year a Kodiak Magnum with a serial number 27CC12 would be? I understood the first digit was only good for '65 - '69, is this bow a 1962?

Pics and a description including glass color and woodwork would be a big help.

I think it's a '62, but will defer to the experts.

It's a 64

So I can learn something, what are the tip-offs to show that it is a '64? because, I have no idea.
Thanks

Careful Frank, you're getting distracted in your quest for a 68-69 SK ;)
It's easy to get distracted, those 64 Kmags are beauties for sure. That appears to be nice one.
J/K My Friend, It's fun isnt it?

Those 64 K mags are pretty. Ya know... I don't have a K-Mag...

Trap, there is a '68 SK I could buy locally, but it is 43# and too many stress cracks for the money. The Kodiak Magnum is nice, but again not in the weight range I am looking for. I am interested in how to tell this is a '64.
Thanks

Curved stripe 64-67..64 and 65 where dark and light woods. 65 serial number started with 5. 66 had brown glass.
If it was 50-55# I'd a said nothing, just bought it.

64 and 65 were the same except the 64 had gray glass and the 65 had green glass. Both had two piece risers. That 1964 is my favorite mag. I just posted a 1965 mag on another thread. Look at the similar risers.

Earl and Toad got it right.
'64 was the first with a stripe but the '65 started with the first digit as the year.
The '62 would have been a solid riser (one piece of wood) and a bit slimmer. Of course the '63 was the infamous dogleg.
My gosh, we all gotta get a life... when we have so much time on our hands to be able to know so much about each year and model of Bear bows and others.
