Title: Experience / Opinions about Fällkniven NL5?
Post by: joeare on January 28, 2007, 07:25:00 PM
I intend to buy me a new rugged traditional looking hunting knife that is not offended when used to remove an arrow out of a tree.
What do you think about the Fällkniven NL5?

Thanks!

I like the Damascus one myself but I think it costs more than my new truck did! LOL!!

I have a Fallkniven S-1 and it is a great knife. The steel is top notch and it holds an edge real well. Mine is the model with the molded rubber grip and kydex sheath. Next to bulletproof and used by the air force as a survival knife.

I also like the looks of the Damascus version but it is just too expensive. The MSRP of the standard NL 5 is about 290$ but here you can buy one for just 190$:  http://www.knifeoutlet.com/shop/10Expand.asp?ProductCode=FALNL5

Perhaps there are even better offers just do a research on google.

Thanks,
Joe
