My quest to kill a deer with one of my old Bears came true this morning. I was able to take a nice fat 5 point from the ground at 8 yards with my 55 lb 1969 Super K. I flat pasted him and my quest is finally fulfilled. Only goes to prove what was told to me by a bowyer. "Nobody reinvented the wheel" and "The bows that came out of Grayling were top notch". This bow was built in my birth year and I think I fulfilled its destiny. Hopefully more to come.
I sent Cam and Rich pictures, so if one of you knows how to post them I would be grateful.
