its 50# and 60 inches long has some scratches and dings but no twist  or stress lines ,guy wants 279.00 is it worth it? i was born in 71 and thought it would be kinda neat to take a deer with it and to shoot it .. what are your thoughts? the #'s are k210371

I think it sounds reasonable.  Currently I have a '75 SK although I had a '71 at one time.   To me the '71 had a nicer feeling grip-which of course purely subjective.   Most of the SK's I watch on the auction site go for around $225-$300--generally not including shipping.

"scratches and dings"...?

I'm pretty particular about my bows, however, if it's only a couple and you can clean it up...maybe.

The price is no steal or bargain if those flaws are excessive.  The SK's are great shooters, fairly common, and are not overpriced in most cases.  If you have the patience, the right one will come along.

I don't think the price is out of line. If the date and the draw weight are what you want then jump on it. Why wait for one that is 25 or 30 bucks cheaper when you can have it now -- and you may never find another that is just right. Super K's are great and one from your birth year has to have a lot of good mojo. The bow and the fun it brings will last longer than a few extra bucks ever would. If it was what I was looking for I would get it. Just my humble opinion.

This appears to be the bow I recently viewed elsewhere and the owner also states it has two filled holes.  Did you check that out?

Unless a bow is very rare, most folks do not care for "filled holes", but if you really want the bow, I bet you could get it cheaper than the asking.
