Title: howard hill field point
Post by: cotradbow on October 04, 2008, 10:43:00 PM
I have a Howard Hill field point and am wondering how common they are?
I was given this by Bill Cypher, who owned Sierra Archery in Los Angeles in '85 or so.
I purchased all of his wood arrow shafts that he said had been in the bins since the sixties. I ended up with quite a few original Sweetland forgewood shafts along with 500 or so old port orford cedars. Still have quite a few light spined shafts.

If you want to part with any of your heavier Sweetlands, drop me a line.  I expect your mailbox is already filled with PMs.

I had some glue on target points stamped Howard Hill, I have seen them on Flea Bay too, but I don't think I have ever seen field points.
I have no history on them, but they really didn't look like vintage HH,(30's>50's) more 70's stuff.
