I put a bid in on a Grizz on flea bay. String is on backwards, other than that the bow looks good to me. I asked him a question any limb twist or stress cracks.
His reply was limbs seem true and no stress cracks to comment on. Would you take that as none or maybe seller doesn't know what I'm referring too. I checked and he has sold a wheelie bow. Other than that no Trad bows that I see.
Your thoughts ?
Thanks,
Mike

You never know. A lot of bows that have been stored with the string on backwards can be warped. some people sell bows that they have never strung. you just about have to string the bow to see if they are warped. I like to ask the seller if he has ever strung and shot the bow.

His responce sounds like he has no idea of what you are asking.
H T has the right idea ask alot of questions.
Have bought several bows off the site. and thats what I do flood them with alot of questions..

"When in doubt,,Back out.." Only thing worse than buying a bad bow is having to sell it.

I find that most e8ay sellers are honest and straight up. Problem with bows is that many sellers pick them up at garage sales and have no clue what they are about. This is no fault of theirs as long as they are up front and tell us that they don't have a clue. They guy you are talking about probably has no idea of what a stress crack is.
It is buyer beware. I boughta beautiful Browning Fury that had a weak bottem limb. Not twisted, weak. When strung it lined uip perfectly. When drawn the bottom limb tip kisks out to one side.
I went back and read the guys description and he stated that he knew nothing about bows. I left him positive feedback because he was honest.

If you are going to play a few of them will end up in the chop saw, and that's just how it is-you won't win every time.
